Some of our VPS nodes with long uptimes (approaching 2 years) are showing abnormalities such as loss of networking to VPS and failure to reboot VPS.
We believe this is caused by our live kernel patches being overly complicated as time goes on without a reboot.
To fix this we are rebooting affected nodes immediately. All VPS on such nodes are rebooted and have a downtime of approx 5 mins while the physical servers are rebooted.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Currently affected nodes;
c04-b05
c04-b10
c04-b11
c04-b13
c06-b04
c06-b05
We are monitoring all servers for these abnormalities during this time and if required, we will reboot the node.
